Virii

A friend brought me two of his Hard Disk Drives(HDD) asking that I should completely format them and repartition them as they are full of viruses. We’ll I said that I could try removing all the viruses and save him the loss of all his 50GB of data and he agreed. I installed Zone Alarm Plus (ZAP) Antivirus with firewall, I should protect my system right?, And then connected his HDD to my system. I scaneed the first one and boy they ARE full of viruses. I was unsatisfied with results of ZAP as it was not efficiently repairing VBS.Redlof.A, So I had to uninstall it and reinstall the grand daddy - Norton Antivirus, Updated it and then scanned and cleaned. And then connected his second drive, whose scan result you can see above. Let me tell you this HDD was simply a breeding ground. It had 5583 infected files.

By the time it completed scanning and cleaning this drive I was so bored that I thought that formatting would have been a better idea. Bye the time the whole process was complete it was nearly 8. I was so exhausted that day that I ate and promptly hit the bed by 9, which is an accomplishment by my standards as I have never been able to sleep before 2 in night these days.
