One of the tiny features I’ve come to love in Windows 7 is its ability to detect when I plug-in my headphones/earphones and automatically reduce the output volume level.

Obviously I would loose an eardrum or two if I play music at full pc volume on my earphone. Good thing I don’t have to manually reduce the volume every time I have to listen to something.
